Join James Beard Award- winning Pastry Chef, Dominique Ansel for an exclusive Croissant 101 Tasting class at his SoHo bakery location.

Guests will spend time in an intimate small group setting alongside Chef Dominique Ansel as he leads a Croissant 101 tasting class, where he will share tips, tricks and techniques for making and tasting a perfect croissant. As guests join Chef along the pastry counter, Dominique Ansel will teach guests how to identify a good croissant based on factors such as color, flakiness and shape. Following the tasting class, guests will enjoy a light brunch, filled with some of Chef’s favorite items featured on the bakery’s menu. Chef will join guests for brunch and participate in a Q&A to share more information about his career, inspirations, new projects and more. As a take-home treat, guests will receive a pre-signed copy of Dominique Ansel’s cookbook along with a box of freshly baked mixed pastries, including his famous Cronut®.

James Beard Award-winning Chef Dominique Ansel has shaken up the pastry world with innovation at the heart of his work. He’s responsible for creating some of the world’s most fêted pastries, including: the Cronut®, Cookie Shot, Frozen S’more, and more. Dominique is the chef/Owner of Dominique Ansel Bakery in Soho NYC, Dominique Ansel Workshop in Flatiron NYC, and Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel in Hong Kong.

For his prolific creativity, in 2017 he was named the World’s Best Pastry Chef by the World’s 50 Best awards, and in 2015 was bestowed the prestigious l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole, France’s second highest honor.
